Vedado is a neighborhood in Havana that is more modern (architecturally) than the rest of the city and country as it was developed in the first half of the 20th century. With some skyscrapers overlooking the Caribbean, mansions amidst greenery, theaters, jazz clubs and huge historic cinemas that hosted the International Festival of Cinema, it feels completely different than the old part of Havana.
